The book was recommended to me by a friend, since I'm not planning on pursuing a science or engineering career, I didn't think that I would be interested, but I was actually really interested in the information in this book. There's some amazing stuff going on with science that this book covers, and I'm glad I know about it. More than that the format wasn't boring or stodgy. It made it easy for me to understand and comprehend, and I definitely fall in the category of someone not to well versed in science, (the most advanced class I took was an intro to Physics). All in all this is a book that is like 'An Incomplete Education' except it is about current science and is a much lighter and easier read. I quite enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone as a must read.Product details

I work in the field of education and I've never come across a science book like this. There are so few resources out there for inspiring young minds, especially in the area of science, so I was very happy that someone wrote a science book that students would actually want to read. I would certainly recommend this book to other educators
